This project involved me having to choose a public figure as well as an old piece of art. I chose to do a Gladiator piece with my figure being 49er’s Defensive End Nick Bosa. I chose Nick for his sheer strength to rush and assert dominance over the offensive line to sack the quarterback. A gladiator also uses their sheer strength to assert dominance just over another gladiator by being victorious in the match. For my piece I wanted to define two different kinds of strength, which are a gladiator and a NFL player. I would give others the advice to use any tools to your advantage, as they make your pieces look great.
